What is PLAQ?
PLAQ is an AI-native music studio for every artist, at every level. Inside it is Rumi, a one click engineer: bring a beat and a vocal, hit Rumi, and the song comes back mixed and mastered in minutes. Rumi on the web is open in beta at plaqai.com: every account gets one free master. The Mac app is opening soon.

Where does Rumi run?
Rumi on the web runs in your web browser at plaqai.com, on a computer or your phone. The Mac app is opening soon.
Can I use a vocal I recorded on my phone?
Yes. Drop in a voice memo or a WAV, AIFF, FLAC, MP3, OGG or M4A file as your vocal, with the beat as its own file. Each file can be up to 100 MB and 4 minutes long. Add doubles and adlibs as their own files too, up to 12 in all. More on mixing and mastering vocals.
Does Rumi only work for one style of music?
Rumi isn't built around one style. It listens to your vocal and sets each tool from what it hears, instead of using one template for every song. You can pick a sound and move a few sliders to steer it.
Can I use PLAQ for my videos?
Not yet. Rumi for your videos, which takes a whole video and hands it back with the voice mixed and mastered, is a Concept on our roadmap: planned, not shipped.
Do I own what I make?
Yes, 100%. We take no ownership stake in your recordings or in the mixes and masters PLAQ makes. It's in our Terms.
Will my music be used to train AI?
Not unless you say so. We never use your recordings to generate songs, beats or voices, and we don't clone voices. Nothing learns from your music without your OK. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
How much does PLAQ cost?
